NATURE SPEAKS-SHORT FILM-DOCUMENTARY ON GLOBAL WARMING
SYNOPSIS
Nature speaks (film documentary)
V.O
In the beginning when God created the universe, the earth was formless and desolate.
The ranging ocean that covered everything was engulfed in darkness-then God commanded, » let there be light and light appeared…then he separated the light from the darkness and he named the light “day and the darkness “night». Evening passed and morning came, that was the first day.
Then God commanded “let there be a dome to divide the water and keep it in two separate places…So God made a dome and it separated the water under it from the sky above it…He named the dome “sky”…the water below the sky came together in one place, so that land will appear…and it was done, the land became earth and the water which had come together he named it “sea”.
The earth produced all kinds of wonderful plants, those that bear grain and those that bear fruits, so the earth produced all kinds of plants…
He then filled the seas, oceans and lakes with many kinds of living beings and filled the air with birds…so God created the great sea monsters, all kinds of creatures that live in the water and all kinds of birds…
So God created the earth and God created man…

Since the creation of the universe, we haven’t stopped acclaiming the wonders of God…mankind loved the universe that he worked purposefully towards it’s destruction under the pretext of its modernisation and possible amelioration…
V.O
The beginnings of the universe’s destruction could be traced some centuries back, when man invented the first machine…an invention which was welcomed with great joy…”the industrial revolution”, that was the term given to it, little did mankind know this revolution was actually going to transform the universe a century later into a little piece of obsolete and breathless object…
Then man, invented his first car…then he needed to run this car…this called for an invention, which ushered in petroleum, which couldn’t be gotten without drilling, drilling which helped in the gradual destruction and desertification of the earth surface…
Man then needed a place to clear of it’s toxic waste…he though of the soil, as ignorant as he could be, he though it wise to drop it’s toxic waste into the seas and oceans, little did he know, these oceans and seas were filled with living beings like himself...and the fishes and other sea animals died and man himself suffered from terrible and deadly diseases caused by his goddamn self…
He didn’t only stop at petroleum drilling but created industries, manufactured cars and engines…nothing could stop mankind at this moment of his technological development…

He’s named nature, it’s quite a big family with and extended relation, they comprise of trees, plants and shrubs of all kinds with a variety of names…they constitute a kingdom of their own the plant kingdom, resided at a précised environment with a suitable climate condition to favour their growth…to mankind, they’re non living…but to a reasonable man, they’re breathe through pores and could possibly say a word…
Another family and a larger kingdom resides in the forest, they’re named animals and they constitute an animal kingdom, they’re living beings, they breathe in air but they can’t speak, it’s said by the law, they don’t have a judicial personality…a situation which ushered man to chase and hunt them down, kill them, transform them into food, clothes and shoes and a variety of articles…they constituted part of the voiceless group of the universe with no rights…little did mankind know blood also ran into their veins and they had their own language and culture…
The seas, the oceans and the lakes constitute another family, they’re non humans
But as some African cultures believe, there are human being living below the sea surface, they got a culture and tradition…they equally got problems, which could possibly be “earth humans”…when he drop in toxic waste polluting the waters, killing sea animals…if this “sea nation” really existed, then mankind could possibly be into some kind of danger, from a possible counter attack…one may think of the deadly cyclones and the flood…( chuckles) however it’s all an illusion…( chuckles)

The invasion of man into the nature brought him in a dangerous co-relation with the nature, his quest for wood; to develop his industries caused him to clear down huge and large forests surfaces in various parts of the world without adequate reforestation…
Large forest regions in the Amazonian and equatorial rainforest are being destroyed by man.
Forests are habitats, habited both by man and animals, large portions of the equatorial rainforests are inhabited by the “pygmies” a forest tribe, which lives and caters for all it’s needs in the forest…the pygmy man’s now chased away from his abode and is homeless…he turns into a rebellion, the monkeys and other forest animals equally participates into the rebellion…reclaiming their rights…
4.
Despite all these developments and the nature’s quest to preserve himself and his environment, mankind seemingly puts on deaf ears to its plea…
5.
Look at these great portions of the earth surface, the Saharan desert, the Californian desert and other arid and poor countries of the world, they’re actually suffering from the repercussions of their unconsciousness…
The little patches of desert shrubs and the oasis shows there once existed huge and thick evergreen rainforests in these regions of the world…
6.
If we could take a look in the future world, we’re not talking of centuries to come or decades but in an hours time…we’re looking at an atmosphere filled with dark toxic fumes, the ozone layer would have been burst by then, millions of men would be blind by then and life expectancy would be 0.1 percent.
The earth surface would be a desert, even the desert shrubs wouldn’t find a place to survive, the oceans, seas and lakes would be dry by then and man would have to dig for a thousands meters deep to find a drop of polluted water…
Man’s creation would have passed away…cars, machines and his famous creations would be buried away…he’ll have as option, counting on his hopeless hopes…
That may be the end of the world…
7.
But if man decides ameliorating his relation towards nature by acting wisely and cautiously, the world of tomorrow can be imagined as a green and well shaped land, seemingly to heavenly illusions, clean waters filled to it’s brim with fishes…man can be pictured living in harmony with animals, they’ll live peacefully till the end of times.
