THE REGULATION OF THE COMPETITION
ITEM 1: The international SRIPT CONTEST -AUGUST 2007 is organised by the World and Universal Academy foundation, in partnership with the WUACADEMIA company. It is open from 1st AUGUST 2007 until to 30th AUGUST 2007. All scriptwriter (screenwriter), irrespective of age, sex, nationality or social situation …may participate.
ITEM 2: To participate in the competition, send a script (or several scripts) that are unpublished. Scripts can only be accepted if it is written in either Chinese, English, Spanish, French, Russian, Arabe, Portuguese, Japanese, German, Dutch, Italian, Korean, Swahili, Lingala or Kikongo. It will be even much better if candidates would translate their works into the above mentioned languages.
ITEM 3: The international SRIPT CONTEST -AUGUST 2007 rewards the best unpublished scripts. The ten possible themes are the following:
- comedy;
- drama;
- detective fiction or crime fiction;
- spy and thriller;
- action and martial arts;
- adventure;
- science-fiction and fantaisie;
- romance (love stories);
- erotica;
- pornography.
ITEM 4: The three best scripts from each theme will receive respectively:
- The Golden Prize (certificate + publication + international promotion);
-The Silver Prize (certificate + publication + international promotion);
-The Bronze Prize (certificate + publication + international promotion).
ITEM 5: The best script among the “gold Prizes" will receive what's more the World-wide Grand Prix-august 2007 of the 7th art: script (certificate + publication + international promotion + possibility to be produce).
ITEM 6: The concurrent work must be sent through Internet (in format PDF or Microsoft word) and in A4 format paper.
ITEM 7: Works that are sent in will not be returned to their author. Once sent, the telling will not be modified or completed by registering again. The author has to send his photography and his artistic curriculum vitae. Candidates are obliged to send an English translation and a French translation of their artistic curriculum vitae. The participants using a pseudonym must mention the two names (the true name and the pseudonym) on to the participation card and while carrying out the payment. Otherwise they will be eliminated.
ITEM 8: ENTRY FEE (FEES): €0. It is possible to present several works.
ITEM 9: The competing works will be published on the site www.wuacademia.org from September 5, 2007. Netsurfers will then be able to vote. The netsurfers would vote and choose the best overall script. The candidates do not receive any rights of authors concerning the usage of their works by the World and Universal Academy notably in regards to the vote process on internet.
ITEM 10: The results will be announced in September 2007. The prize award will take place in the Netherlands on September 28/29, 2007 during the World Summer Festival in Groningen (The Netherlands). The presence of the winners at the prize award day is highly needed.
ITEM 11: Candidates must submit only original work of arts. Any work that we receive from participants is assumed to be authentic work of the author. In the event of false claim the author will bare the consequence alone. We wish all the participants good luck. |
